STEPS IN SILENCE
Sükut içində addımlar
Documentary Feature, 76′
Directed by: Fariz Ahmadov
Production: Azerbaijan, Poland, 2026
In the scarred lands of Karabakh, the process of demining and clearing unexploded ordnance is underway. Among the demining teams are those made up entirely of women. The camera follows their lives – on the minefield and beyond, in the sound of metal detectors and the silence of daily life. This is a story of fragility and strength, of choice and daily danger, of the land they are returning to. A story of women deminers.
